Today I was so excited because we were going to ride on a ferry. This wasn’t just any ferry, it was Disney’s Lion King ferry! *insert cheering* When we got there, however, the ferry was having trouble so they sent in another. Our dreams were crushed when we saw it was just an ordinary ferry. We got off the ferry and toured Airbus, but in order to hear details about that go over and read Mia’s blog! Next, we were on the way to the restaurant. The workers told it was a 10-minute walk, but their version of a 10-minute walk is really a 20-30 minute walk. It turned out to be definitely worth is since the walk was so beautiful! We were walking through farmland, with fields of apple trees and strawberries. One of the residents even had 12 cherry trees in their front yard with a net over it to keep out the bugs. We finally reached Bundt’s, which turned out to be a garden restaurant with fresh veggies and fruit. I had the jägerschnitzel, which is fried pork with a mushroom sauce and side of potatoes. It was really delicious, and if you ever go to Hamburg, Germany I highly recommend it! After dinner, we took a picture on the path in a prom style formation. As you can see, Andrew will not stand by the rest of the group; he always has to have an immense amount of personal space between him and everyone else. We were able to take the ferry back to our hostel and enjoy the beautiful sunset that occurs every night at 11pm.
