Crunch Time

Our study abroad trip is coming to an end, and we have a few assignments due before we leave. One of these assignments is a video project. Our objective is to compare certain aspects of the U.S. and Germany. We had a large group brainstorming session to get some ideas from our minds onto paper. Then, we split into groups of four, and each group chose to focus on one topic. My group decided to focus on jobs and the work force. In our video, we are addressing the differences in daily work schedule, paid vacation, maternity/paternity leave, unemployment, and wage gaps. Other groups are making videos on smart houses, recycling, and water. Our videos are coming along nicely, and since they are due today, everyone is hard at work.
