Today in Rome we spent the morning walking around to find lunch. We ran into a cute restaurant where they were making fresh pasta right in front of us, and decided to eat there. The pasta was amazing; all of the ingredients were fresh! After lunch, we went on a tour to the Colosseum, which was beautiful. We went inside and were able to see where the men and where the women sat. It was also awesome to see the underground parts of the Colosseum! The underground part of the Colosseum is where they used to hold the animals, and in the center they would lift the animals onto the stage from the ground! While in the coliseum, we also noticed some holes in it. This is because in the old days, builders would take the marble from other buildings and melt them down and to use for new temples.
